LAKE COUNTY — Holiday hours were announced for garbage disposal and curbside service for the New Year”s Holiday.
All facilities will be closed on Wednesday and garbage pickup will be delayed until Thursday.
All offices and disposal facilities re-open on Thursday, but curbside service is delayed one day.
Thursday”s pickup will be delayed until Friday.
Friday”s pickup will be delayed until Saturday.
Free drop-off of Christmas trees starts Friday and will continue through Jan. 11.
Drop-off sites include the Lakeport Transfer Station and the recycling yard at the entrance of the Eastlake Landfill.
Curbside tree pickup is available for residential customers beginning Friday and will continue through Jan. 10.
Trees are to be placed in green waste containers on regular pickup days.
The tree must fit in the can loosely and the lid must shut. All ornaments, lights and tinsel for all Christmas tree recycling must be removed.
No flocked trees will be accepted.
