I was wondering if Mr. Kettenhofen”s God (sorry, I can”t identify with his) considered economic fairness as a potential socialist threat when “He” (my God) equally divided the fishes and the loaves?

I wonder, too, if God thought that when He created the earth and all its bountiful resources, man would naturally share them with all mortals, thereby eliminating need for any political philosophy at all ? just human kindness.

I know that biblical scholars have been asking questions and debating God”s word for centuries.

I also know, that while hopefully inspired by God, the Bible as we know it has been through many authors, translations and periods in history and cultures when many words had different meanings.

To think that we can “know” everything about our Lord is so arrogant.

“Socialism” as some would define it where it doesn”t exist seems far less threatening than those who hold the unfortunate of the earth hostage with their antiquated and foolish beliefs ? worst of all, blaming a loving God.

I ask that Mr. Kettenhofen please, think what he likes ? espouse it if he must.

But that he doesn”t confuse a lack of humanity or hope with the God so many of us know and love.
