LAKE COUNTY — An annual Relay for Life kick-off event will take place on Jan. 21 at TJ”s Downtown Bar and Grill from 6 to 7 p.m. The event will include guest speakers, raffles, music and team sign-ups. The public is invited to attend
“Whether you are a veteran participant, new participant, team captain, committee member, or not involved yet, then we want you there,” stated Danyelle Johnson, event co-chair. “Bring a friend and get them involved in an amazing cause ? we are all here to get one step closer to a cure for cancer, as well as honor our survivors and remember those we”ve lost.”
There will also be a raffle for new team captains, who, if their teams are signed up before Jan. 21, will be entered to win $50 toward the new team. People who have already been team captains can enter by recruiting a new captain.
