In 1967, LBJ created the war on poverty. Two years ago the latest figures from the ?80s said we were spending $45 billion a year on the war on poverty. Seventy-two cents of every dollar was spent on administration costs. Bernie Madoff would be jealous of this scheme ? $20.7 trillion spent since 1964 and the poverty rate is still stuck on 14.5 percent. Great job.

North Carolina cut unemployment benefits and the number of weeks you could draw the benefits. They can no longer draw a cushy government check and get a two-year paid vacation under the Obama administration unemployment benefits. Guess what happened, the unemployment rate fell because it was more profitable to get a job.

The labor participation rate, 92 million unemployed, is at the highest since 1977, so why is the unemployment rate at 6.7 percent? Because they don”t compute it at the same way as they did back then. Today the unemployment rate would be somewhere between 13- and 15- percent, if computed in the same manner as before.

The figures they are quoting are what is known as a U3, the true number is U6. So basically they are lying. And I am getting so tired of the lies. There are 92 million people out of work, or chronically unemployed and all the Dems can point to is eight million new jobs. By my figures they have only rehired approximately seven percent of the unemployed. Wow, what a great job. Oh, and by the way, these are your own government figures ?go figure.

Bottom line of what I have been trying to say is that like ObamaCare, if a private entity came up with what your government is doing they would be prosecuted for fraud, at best. So why keep re-electing these people?
