KELSEYVILLE — The Live Oak Grill”s newly transformed banquet room, Pop”s Jazz Club, will have its grand opening tonight, which will serve as a fundraiser for KPFZ 88.1 FM community radio.

The event will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. The Jim Leonardis Quartet will perform jazz for dancing. The band features Leonardis on tenor sax and clarinet, keyboardist Paul Kemp, bassist David Ferrario and drummer Lynn Clark.

A European tapas seven-course dinner will be prepared by Marcie Ann Long and Dennis “Pop” Booth, KPFZ music programmers.

“Pop”s Jazz Club was envisioned by (Booth) and Dennis “Doc” Bilardi, both DJs for KPFZ 88.1 FM, as a place for artists to gather and share ideas to strengthen our local music and arts community,” according to Suzanne Abel.

Only 50 tickets are available at the cost of $20 for KPFZ members, $25 for non-members. Membership forms will be available at the door. To reserve tickets, call 245-7532 or 994-4373 or email popsnightclub@gmail.com.
