The Clearlake City Council will be presented with its mid-year budget review at its 6 p.m. meeting Thursday at Clearlake City Hall in the Council Chambers.

The council will also discuss the failed sales tax measure from the November special election, as well as discuss a possible new tax measure.

An amendment to the city and successor agency loan agreement will be reviewed by the council. The amendment is for health and safety code compliance.

The council will also consider updating the City Program Income Reuse Plan.

The state controller”s office will present its final asset transfer review to the council.

Housing rehabilitation guidelines will be considered by the council to be in compliance with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) requirements.

Additionally, the council will hold a public hearing to consider CDBG application submissions.

Clearlake Police Department (CPD) Chief Craig Clausen will present a certificate of appreciation to Dale Valentine for a $5,000 donation to the CPD K-9 fund.

Additionally, Clausen will also will present the employee of the year, as well as recognize retiring officer Carl Stein for his 55 years of service.
