This is in response to the Vern Ware”s Feb. 6 letter concerning the viability of socialism. He states, “If God is for one side, he must be against the other?” I agree. It can”t be both ways. The Bible doesn”t contradict itself. Either the Bible supports socialism or it doesn”t. However it”s possible for true Christians to have opposite viewpoints on this. In the end it”s not going to matter how an individual views socialism. In the end, the only thing that is going to matter is whether or not an individual is “born again.” This is an issue that all true Christians agree on, even though these same Christians may have divergent views concerning socialism.
