Supervisors proclaim a state of emergency.

Their advice, we should all conserve water. There is very little water to conserve. Have we ever thought of producing more rain? I am a 87-year-old, retired pharmacist, who now grows 40 acres of grapes as a hobby. I have three dry reservoirs. Some years ago when I was a teenager, we had a severe drought. I worked for Pop Lampson in his service station. Pop Lampson tried to work with the Board of Supervisors to seed some clouds and produce some rain. Oh yes we will give it some consideration. Nothing was done as it is today. I talked to our Supervisor Rob Brown, but I think he forgot I spoke to him. Pop Lampson was a man determined to get things done. He bought the silver iodide himself. I helped him and a meteorologist load the silver iodide on his plane at the airport and they took off. It was a dark cloudy day. Soon it started to rain. It came down in buckets. I think about over four inches all day. This is an emergency. Why can”t we do that?
