In Shawn Garrett”s letter of March 7 he stated, “We are all one, one energy, one world, one love.” This of course, is New Age thinking where people choose their own path instead of following dogma. For them there are no absolutes so reality is whatever they want it to be. They are accountable only to themselves: “God? Who”s that?”
New Age followers have nature as their teacher. Since they can”t really be smarter than their teacher then their God will be nature. When human beings worship animals and trees and nature they sometimes end up acting like animals because there is no authority to say what is right and wrong. That”s the world without God.
Fortunately, it doesn”t have to be that way. An inspired writer wrote: “I will tell you a secret. Christ in your hearts in your only hope of glory. Those who are related to Christ will one day shine with him in all his glories.”
