LOWER LAKE — In a game they led 5-1 early, the Lower Lake Trojans fell 11-8 to the St. Helena Saints in North Central League I junior varsity baseball action on Friday in Lower Lake.
Reed Diener went 2-for-3 with a double and scored twice for the Trojans (1-3). Ethan Watson went 1-for-3 with a double and a RBI and Jordan McGrath went 1-for-4.
Losing pitcher Ryan Jones worked 2 1/3 innings in relief, striking out two.
The Trojans play Monday in Fort Bragg, weather permitting.
