The Lake County/City Area Planning Council (APC) will review and discuss its 2014/15 budget at its 9:30 a.m. meeting in the Council Chambers at Lakeport City Hall.

Local transportation funds are expected to be consistent with last year and administrative costs have slightly increased, according to a staff report. All other revenues and expenditures have remained consisted with the budget from last year.

No action is required of the council. The budget will be acted on during the May or June APC meeting.

The APC will also consider approving an amendment to the professional services agreement with Dow and Associates. The amendment will reduce the number of days required for the APC to terminate its agreement with Dow and Associates from 120 days to 30 days, according to the amendment.

A draft of the 2014/15 Overall Work Program (OWP) will be reviewed and discussed by the APC.

Additionally, a second amendment to the 2013/14 OWP will be discussed.

The proposed changes to the 2013/14 OWP include exchanging $4,135 of soon-to-be expired planning, programming and monitoring funds with 2013/14 Rural Planning Assistance (RPA) funds, according to a staff report. A remaining $6,400, because of completing the Lake County Speed Zone Studies under budget, will be moved from work element 603 to 600 to help with a funding shortfall. An addition of $325 from RPA funds will be added to the Clearlake portion of funds for work element 600.

In other business, the council will discuss an audit performed by Smith & Newell, of Yuba City, for the 2012/13 fiscal year.

City Hall is located at 225 Park St. in Lakeport.
