LAKEPORT — The fifth annual “Celebrity Who”s Who Lip Sync Revue” comes to the stage at the Soper Reese Community Theatre for three performances Saturday and Sunday.
The show will be performed by more than 75 people in 19 different acts. Celebrity personalities back by popular demand include John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Cher, Willie Nelson, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Nancy Sinatra and Peggy Lee.
Jennifer Strong will emcee the event and classic cars will provide escort for the show”s stars as they arrive to walk the red carpet. Attendees are encouraged to arrive at the theater early to watch the personalities as they arrive for their performances.
The show was created by the Lake County Chamber of Commerce four years ago. Two years ago, the “People”s Favorite Act” perpetual award was instituted. The act that receives the most votes is presented with a souvenir trophy and is listed on the perpetual trophy that they get to display in their office.
Performances will be held Saturday at 3 and 7 p.m. and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets cost $25 and must be purchased in advance. The Saturday 3 p.m. showing offers tickets for $20 for seniors 55 and older.
