LUCERNE — Harbor Village Artists Complex will hold its Spring Fling today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will include community resources for spring planting, irrigation and beautification: Rainbow Agriculture will have information regarding drip-irrigation systems; Piedmont Rock Center will provide landscaping ideas using decorative rocks for gardens; California Master Gardeners will dispense tips on drought gardening and conservation pointers using drought resistant plants; Main Street Nursery will create a fairy garden.
Additionally, Bachelor Valley Gourd Club will have gourds for gardens; Clear Lake Trowel and Trellis Club will have plants and vegetables for sale; Tom Macomber and Nancy Carter will show garden art and statuary; Sherry Harris and Leah Adams will have baskets, jewelry and decorative planters; and Toni Stewart will have spring hats for sale. A portion of the appetizers will be furnished by the Lakeport Women”s Civic Club and wine tasting will be provided by Steele Wines.
Harbor Village Artists will also introduce its newest member, Gallery 20, owned by Bob Sheridan. Gallery 20 will participate in the Spring Fling event, but its official opening is scheduled for the summer.
The complex is located at 6195 E. Highway 20 in Lucerne, adjacent to the Lucerne Harbor Boat Ramp.
