LAKEPORT ? Children will have the opportunity to push, pull ride or lead their pets around Library Park on the shores of Clear Lake Saturday morning.
The parade will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Children up to 12 years old and all types and sizes of pets are eligible to enter. The event is free-of-charge. Rain cancels.
Prizes will be available for best pets, costumes and decorations.
Wagons, bikes scooters ? any non-motorized conveyance ? are eligible.
The parade will begin at the northeast corner of the park by the Third Street boat launch.
The event is presented by the Lakeport Main Street Association.
Entry applications are available on its website at www.lakeportmainstreet.com or at downtown businesses. Applications will also be accepted the day of the parade.
