LAKEPORT — The Lake County Office of Education Safe Schools, AmeriCorps, Friday Night Live and Team DUI programs are partnering to bring town hall meetings to Lake County.
The first of two town hall meetings will be held at the Soper Reese Community Theatre April 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. Youth from Friday Night Live and members from Team DUI will give presentations.
Friday Night Live students identified suicide prevention and under-aged drinking as concerns within their communities. The public is invited to the event to see what the county is doing to help students and their families with these concerns.
The Soper Reese Community Theatre is located at 275 S. Main St. in Lakeport.
