LAKEPORT — Lakeport Library and story teller Kevin Village-Stone will present a special story program at 10:15 a.m. Friday.

Village-Stone will come attired in traditional costume to tell stories in the Cherokee tradition. The free-of-charge program is open to the community.

Village-Stone has received acclaim at the Native American Music Awards as a composer and performer, according to Jan Cook. He performs in the band Whispering Light and enjoys multi-tribal storytelling in the Cherokee tradition as his contribution to the young people of the community.
