LOWER LAKE — The sixth annual Lake Renaissance Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 24 and 25 at the Tuscan Village Terrill Cellars Winery.

The festival is set amid the rolling hills of wine country on a working winery designed to look like a small renaissance Italian town.

Festival founder Thomas Wilsey began the event in 2009 and has since seen it attract hundreds of new and returning visitors every year, according to Lisa Wilsey.

Tickets cost $7 per day for adults and children younger than 12 are admitted free-of-charge. Attendees dressed in costume or with coupons will receive a $2 discount off their ticket. Coupons are available at the Tuscan Village Used Bookstore or at Sammi”s Sandwiches located in Tuscan Village.
