I read last week that our current sheriff is working 15 hours a day and 90 hours a week.
I find this hard to believe, but it could be true.
Where are the facts?
If this is happening there is a problem.
It”s called job performance, good decision making, stress, health problems and work burn out.
When I was in my 20s I worked nine hours a day. I became a walking mummy.
Here”s a new idea, why don”t we elect two sheriffs?
They could each work 45 hours a week, get more done and two-for-one.
Sounds good to me.
Remember, just because you read something on the opinion page, doesn”t mean it”s the truth.
I think someone is blowing smoke.
