To take a stand against the majority I admit is not a very comfortable place to be. But it is important to fight against stereotypes and intolerance. For example the idea that Bible believing Christians that hold to a Creation account are somehow ignorant of accurate science and an inaccurate stereotype.

The dates of the origins of Human civilizations, the growth of human populations, the dating of the oldest living things, worldwide distribution of fossils, frequent mixing fossils from different “ages,” no observable evidence of any animal giving birth to an entirely different kind of animal, as well as collagen found in dinosaur bones, the differing rotational orbits of planets and moons, the amount of salt in the oceans, the fact that matter does not create information, the gross inaccuracies of dating methods as well as the Second law of Thermodynamics were enough to shake my faith in evolution. This is only a brief example of science that confirms a Biblical view on origins. Look into it for yourself. As for the belief that Bible believers are dangerous, you tell me who you would rather meet when your car breaks down at night; a man that believes we were created by a holy, just and all knowing God that we will all give account to one day, or one that believes he came from apes, is just another animal and will only be punished in this life, if he happens to get caught. I agree with the skeptics on one thing. Blind faith can have damaging consequences.
