In the Dec. 14 Record-Bee Guthrie “Guff” Worth equated my religion with the Taliban. But then in the May 2 Record-Bee he stated that he is getting increasingly disgusted by the lack of tolerance of other”s views.
On the surface his statements sound contradictory but actually both statements are totally in harmony with each other. Overall, what he is really saying is that we need to be more tolerant toward sin. This amounts to taking a neutral stand on moral issues. He is trying to give the impression that there is something Christian about this attitude. But the truth is that this type of thinking leads to a spread of evil.
