MIDDLETOWN — The seventh annual Safe House of Lake County Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday at the Hidden Valley Golf and Country Club.

The event will be hosted by the Lake County Pride Foundation (LCPF) and will feature a barbecue buffet and a silent auction in addition to the golf tournament.

Golfers should check in at noon and plan to tee off at 1 p.m. At registration, golfers will be able to purchase mulligans and the opportunity to win the Pot ?O” Gold money prize on the 11th hole. On the fourth hole, golfers will also have a chance to win a new car by making the longest drive.

At 5 p.m., no-host cocktails will be offered. Dinner, the auction and awards will be held at 6 p.m. The dinner includes barbecue ribs and chicken, corn on the cob, potato salad, baked beans and dessert and will be served in the barbecue area adjacent to the golf course.

Raffle tickets will be sold during the course of the event for $1 each or six for $5. The silent auction items will be on display in the barbecue area during the event.

LCPF provides a safe place for homeless teens in the Southshore community at the Safe House. The Safe House provides shelter for up to six teens. LCPF is able to maintain the Safe House through grants and fundraisers and the golf tournament is its primary fundraiser of the year.

The cost to participate in the tournament and eat dinner is $90. Tickets for the dinner and admission to the evening”s events cost $45.
