CLEARLAKE — Legal Services of Northern California (LSNC) will host a free-of-charge workshop for Lake County mobile home park residents from noon to 1 p.m. on June 2 at the Highlands Senior Services Center.
Participants will be taught about their general responsibilities and rights as mobile home park residents and renters. The workshop is not intended for property managers or park owners.
Reservations are not required, but space is limited so attendees are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early.
The mission of LSNC is to provide quality legal services to empower the poor and to identify and defeat the causes and effects of poverty within the community by utilizing available resources, according to Ryan Murphy of LSNC. LSNC advocates on behalf of low-income individuals and families in northern California, covering 23 counties. The LSNC, Ukiah office serves low-income residents and seniors of Mendocino and Lake counties.
