Here we go again! Don”t be fooled with this measure. There is no plan to save the lake. The plan is to collect money and continue the same way as always. The public must stand up and ask questions of our supervisors.
1)Where is the plan? 2) What is the cost? 3) Who will be in charge?
I have been coming to Lake County for more than 50 years and lived here for more than 30 and these last 10 years have been very damaging to the lake. The measure talks about an oversight committee to be nominated by the supervisors. How is that an oversight committee?
They also can disband it just as easy, as they did the Clear Lake Advisory Committee this spring. It”s time the people of this county step up and have their voice heard. How about a separate agency to be in charge of the lake? What a concept ? where the voters get to have a voice! Pay attention and ask questions! No on L.
