LAKE COUNTY — For the second consecutive year, the Park Study Club (PSC) has received recognition for its efforts in community service and involvement from the General Federation of Women”s Club, Sutter District in Northern California.
PSC competed with 13 other clubs under the Sutter District. Recognition awards are given in classification of club size, with PSC being considered a medium-sized club with 35 members. PSC also received two first-place awards in the education/partnership and education/scholarship divisions, as well as a third-place award in public issues.
Anyone interested in becoming a member can attend one of PSC”s monthly luncheon meetings or come to one of its fundraisers.
