LAKEPORT ? Volunteers for the Lakeport Senior Activity Center are sought.
Volunteer positions to be filled include a salesperson for the Hot August Nite event”s accessory shop; a reporter for the center”s in-house newsletter, “Senior Moments;” lunch servers; workers at the center”s thrift store and on-call front desk workers.
Additionally, drivers for the Meals-On-Wheels program are need to aid in delivering meals to seniors. Routes include Lakeport, Soda Bay, Kelseyville and Kelseyville Riviera. Drivers must have a current driver”s license and proof of insurance. A gas reimbursement of $20 a day is provided.
