I find the ?Blind Faith” writer rather disturbing in the thought that a believer in a ?just and all knowing God” is good and a believer in man”s decent from apes is bad (I”ll cover the science later). I have been a Boy Scoutmaster (assistant) and hope I taught the boys the difference between right and wrong. I have a son whom defended his classmates against bullies. I have helped a woman change a tire while it was raining. I stop for people crossing the street, while on my bicycle. I believe in evolution and not God. I believe that being good and doing right is not dictated by fear of some punishment in an afterlife. If the writer did have car trouble, would she ask if a person believed in God before accepting help? I wonder.

Now to the science.

Evolution does not believe we came from apes but had a common ancestor. As to ?no observable evidence of any animal giving birth to an entirely different king of animal” leads me to believe she has very little comprehension of evolution. Evolution is a gradual process which spans many of our lifetimes. Fossilization is a rare event, so we do not see all the dots from one species to another.

But, all of the dinosaurs are dead (with their sandstone encased collagen intact) and there are still animals on the earth reproducing.

With major differences on every continent. Buffalo in Africa and bison in North America. Creationists can”t explain why but evolutionists can.

Differing orbits of planets and moons? Is this the geocentric view? It would give me pause if they were all the same. ?Gross inaccuracies of dating methods”? I hear this from creationists, not scientists.

?Frequent fossil mixing”? Not sure where this came from. And, yes, matter does create information. Igneous rock on the seafloor showing the magnetic pole reversals. Layers of sandstone/limestone/siltstone being upthrust by plate tectonics. I could go on and on. But please believe this. I do not think that Bible believers are dangerous. Just misinformed.
