Mr. Striedieck lays out several beneficial effects of marijuana. He brushes lightly over the euphoric effects of cannabis use.
He is correct. The plant is not the problem.. The problem is the growers who would like to cover large tracts of our beautiful Lake County with acres of that noxious weed in order to gratify their insatiable greed and cash in on that euphoric effect. There is an insignificant number of people who can benefit from the medical aspects of cannabis use. However, it is overwhelmingly used as a recreational drug; the aforementioned euphoria. That is why some people are asking for a ?NO” vote on Measure N. The question is: Would you rather have the evil smell of marijuana permeating every area everywhere in Lake County or enjoy the wide vistas and clean air of our little corner of paradise? I know what my answer will be. Yes on Measue N.
