The Lake County Planning Commission will hold two public hearings at its 9 a.m. meeting Thursday at the Lake County Courthouse.
A previously adopted mitigated negative declaration will be reconsidered during the first hearing. The applicant is requesting a one-year time extension to establish a health and hospitality resort in Lucerne. The project includes a guest lodge, 24 villas, 25 cabins, 100 suites, as well as medical-, health- and spa-related amenities.
During the second hearing, a mitigated negative declaration regarding the construction of a 50-foot wireless communication facility in Clearlake Oaks by Verizon Wireless will be considered.
The Lake County Courthouse is located at 255 N. Forbes St. in Lakeport.
