The Federal government is solely responsible for the management of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This affiliation has knowingly been flawed for years.
The conditions endured by our veterans at Walter Reed Memorial hospital were ongoing and exploded in the media news in 2009 and 2009. At that time, President Obama vowed to correct the inefficiencies in the VA hospital administration.
We now have evidence of corruption and mismanagement at many levels throughout the VA medical system resulting in the tragic deaths of more than 40 veterans. Does anyone else see the flaws of the enacting the Affordable Care Act that puts the health care management of the rest of the county into the hands of the federal government?
