LAKE COUNTY — On May 22, more than 50 family members and friends gathered at the Lake County Office of Education (LCOE) Training and Career Center in Clearlake to celebrate the course completion of 15 Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) program students.

The crowd was welcomed by program specialist Tammy Serpa, followed by words of encouragement from instructor Shirley Hardy.

The graduates included Latasha Ayatch, Ashley Boyer, Esperanza Briones, Jessica Garcia-Guillermo, Amanda Graf, Juana Hernandez-Briones, Kayla Hottel, Marsha Lee, Chelsea Long, Melissa Mabery, Marcella Obenauf, Chantilly Pannell, Tasia Sherwood, Kaleigh Sullivan and Kimberly Thompson.

The next session of CNA classes will start in August. The 13-week course will take place at the LCOE Training and Career Center on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturdays.
