UPPER LAKE — Three Upper Lake High School softball players and one baseball player have been named to the All-North Central League II teams as selected by the league”s coaches on May 19.
In softball, three Cougars received All-League recognition. LaShaye Taylor, who led Lake County with four home runs, and teammate Sierra Fugate, who led the team in hits, doubles and RBIs, were named to the first team. Both are juniors. Another junior, pitcher Janee Swaney, received an honorable mention.
In baseball, Upper Lake”s lone representative was honorable mention Jeremiah Swaney, a senior.
