Book number one was written 2,000-to-3,500 years ago by unknown authors of unknown education and mental stability.
Within it they write of magical things none of which happen today. It was written in the Middle-East, contains threats, fear, slavery, flesh eating, baby killing, mass murder and other issues akin to that. It”s main theme is that a Super Hero lives in the sky and many people in the book have encountered it. But nobody in modern recorded history has. Not one single documented case.
Book number two is a collection of scientific works written by known well educated people, working to understand our world. You know their names, where they were born, what methods they used to arrive at their conclusions and all is well documented, sourced and fully explained. Some of these people are alive. You can talk to them. They can prove many of their findings.
Book one contradicts book two.
What sane, intelligent person is going to claim that in all probability book one should be relied upon more than book number two?
