LAKEPORT — Presale ride wristbands for the Butler Amusements carnival at the Lake County Spring Fair, to be held June 20, 21 and 22, are available in the main office of the Lake County Fairgrounds.
The fair will feature several rides that have never visited Lake County; including the Freak Out, the Raptor and the Super Shot Drop Tower.
While the new rides are geared toward adult and teen thrill-seekers, the carnival will feature a variety of rides for younger attendees as well, including a handcrafted, 28-foot Americana-themed carousel, a cartoon-themed train, a teacup ride, a lollipop swing and a dune buggy-themed jump-around.
Additional rides include the Fire Ball, a tilt-a-whirl, the Graviton, and the Voyager virtual reality ride. A variety of games and food selections will round out the carnival.
The Spring Fair will also feature motorized grandstand shows each evening, two stages of musical entertainment, car shows on June 21 and 22, vocational education project displays, a laser tag emporium and a variety of fair food and other commercial displays.
The Lake County Spring Fair is in its second year at the fairgrounds in Lakeport. All regular admission tickets cost $5 for people 6 or older and can be purchased in advance or at the gates.
One-day unlimited ride wristbands cost $20 with advanced purchase. The wristbands are available in the main office of the Lake County Fairgrounds, which is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until noon and from 1 until 5 p.m. For information, visit lakecountyfair.com or call 263-6181.
