LAKE COUNTY — The Lake County Chamber of Commerce is accepting items to use for its agricultural display titled “The Lake County Pantry” at the California State Fair county exhibits.

The Chamber of Commerce is coordinating the design, construction and transportation for the exhibit during the 18 days of the fair. America Institute of Architects and chamber member Joe Pennisi has designed the building for the county”s exhibit, which will represent a barn or farm stand. The construction will be done by Meek Construction of Lakeport.

Michelle Malm, the food services director for Kelseyville Unified School District, will have information about the district”s Farm to School program at the booth.

Additionally, a display featuring Lake County wineries and their awards will also be setup.

The theme for the fair”s county exhibits is “From Our County to Your Table.”
