KELSEYVILLE — The Kelseyville High School (KHS) commencement ceremony for the class of 2014 will include a fireworks display at the end of the celebration at about 9:20 p.m. on June 13 at the KHS football field.

The display has been a tradition since 2000, according to Principal Matt Cockerton.

The actual display will take place over a five-minute period of time, but residents are advised to take the necessary precautions with pets that might be sensitive to the noise, Cockerton stated.

KHS has worked with police and fire agencies and has taken necessary steps to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all, Cockerton stated.

The event has been paid for through the fundraising efforts of the class of 2014.
