LAKEPORT >> The Lake County Arts Council is sponsoring the third annual Summer Youth Art Camp classes at the Main Street Gallery.
The classes will run through July 28 and will feature a variety of multimedia artistic subjects to choose from, such as acrylics, art journals, beading, collage, drawing, pastels, polymer clay, scrapbooking and watercolors.
All materials are provided by the instructors and are included in the class fees, which range from $10 to $15.
Class sizes are designed to be small to allow for specialized instruction for each student, according to Sherry Harris. The age group will be posted for each class offered.
The accomplishment for children is that each student will complete an art project to take home, Harris stated. Also, students may have their project on display at the Main Street Gallery at a later specified time, if they so choose.
Registration is underway. Stop by the Main Street Gallery or call 263-6658 to find out about class fees. Registration and parental permission slips are available at the gallery.
The Main Street Gallery is located at 325 N. Main St. in Lakeport.
