LAKEPORT >> The Law Office of Dennis A Fordham has installed the Dresden Plate, the 55th quilt block to be installed on the Lake County Quilt Trail (LCQT).
The Dresden Plate represents prosperity and thriftiness, combining the utilization of the smallest pieces of fabric with layers of detail to create a cohesive whole, according to Annette Higday.
The quilt block was drawn and painted by the LCQT team, a group of quilters, graphic artists, painters, writers, carpenters and a videographer.
The LCQT is an agricultural and tourism project designed to promote community pride, Higday stated.
