LAKEPORT >> The Soper Reese Community Theatre will screen Frank Capra”s 1934 romantic comedy, “It Happened One Night,” on July 8 with show times at 1 and 6 p.m.
The film stars Claudette Colbert and Clark Gable, both of whom won Academy Awards for their portrayals. The plot centers on a pampered socialite who tries to get out from under her father”s thumb. She falls in love with a roguish reporter who sees her as his ticket to a front page story.
