KELSEYVILLE >> The Rotary Club of Kelseyville Sunrise has awarded scholarships to 11 graduating seniors at Kelseyville High School (KHS) totaling $8,000, according to the Rotary Club scholarship chair, Cameron Reeves.
The scholarship awards were presented to the students at Senior Awards Night on June 10 by Reeves and club President John Burke. The award recipients were also honored at the Rotary Club meeting on June 18 where each student spoke about his/her upcoming plans for college.
The Rotary Club awards scholarships each year as its primary community service project, which is funded by its annual fundraisers, Reeves stated. The 11 awards were a record number for the Kelseyville Sunrise Club.
