LAKEPORT >> The Lakeport Women”s Civic Club presented scholarships to students majoring in the field of vocation education.
The club gave $1,000 scholarships to Madison Hicks of Middletown High School and Allison Lahr of Lower Lake High School.
Lahr will be attending beauty school in Ukiah after studying business at Mendociao College with a goal of opening her own salon. Hicks will be studying to become a cosmetologist and is presently selecting the college she will be attending.
