NICE >> Ce?go Vinegarden will celebrate its annual lavender harvest from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday with Jamaican food and music, as well as wine pairing and all things lavender.
The celebration, “Jamaica by the Lake,” will feature craft booths, jewelry and soap-making demonstrations as well as lavender distilling.
Traditional foods will be served including jerk chicken, grilled baby back ribs, island beverages and Caribbean paella.
Reggae music will be provided by Benji Wise. A Caribbean steel drum band will also perform.
Advanced tickets cost $65. Tickets will also be available the day of the event for $70.
The tasting room will be open only to members of the public who have purchased tickets to the celebration. The tasting room will re-open to the general public on Sunday and will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
