KELSEYVILLE >> Musician Roy Zimmerman, after completing 14,000 miles of touring and tornado dodging on his Blue Dot Tour, will play at the Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County at 7 p.m. on July 11.

Zimmerman songs take up topics such as fracking, creationism, marijuana laws, government shutdown, same-sex marriage, guns, taxes and abstinence. In 13 albums produced in the last 20 years, Zimmerman has brought the sting of satire to the struggle for peace and social justice, according to Lee Martin of Metaphor Records. His songs have been aired on HBO and Showtime and he has recorded for Warner/Reprise Records. He”s been profiled on NPR”s “All Things Considered” and he”s a featured blogger for the Huffington Post.

An admission fee of $18 or whatever an attendee can pay is asked.

The Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County is located at 3810 Main St. in Kelseyville.
