KELSEYVILLE >> The deadline for submitting a vendor application to participate in the 19th annual Steele Wines Harvest Festival is Tuesday.
The festival will be held Oct. 11 and 12 and will feature four bands, the vineyard run, grape stomping and wine tasting. Booths will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. Participating vendors are asked to be set up by 9 a.m. each day and to participate in both days with no early pack-ups allowed.
All arts and crafts for sale must be made by the seller/exhibitor that is present at the show. Artists must provide their own tables and chairs, and with limited shade, vendors are encouraged to bring portable shade with them. No overnight security is provided, but some people spend the night on the grounds. A limited amount of space for self-contained campers will be available and vendors should indicate whether they need space for one on their applications.
The entry form, fee, a copy of the vendor”s resale license and a self-addressed and stamped envelope are due by Tuesday.
Vendors that did not attend the show last year should also include photographs of their artwork/crafts with their application. Local and returning vendors have first preference. Every effort will be made to give returning vendors the same space as in 2013, according to Naomi Key of Steele Wines. Vendors will be notified by July 31 as to whether they have been accepted. Vendors who are not accepted will have their fee returned.
All food vendors are required to have temporary food facility permits for the event dates. Food vendors can obtain their temporary food facility permit from the Lake County Health Services Department, Division Of Environmental Health.
Vendor applications can be brought to Steele Wines or mailed to Steele Wines, P.O. Box 190, Kelseyville, 95451.
