MIDDLETOWN >> The Middletown Pool will remain closed for water maintenance today through Wednesday.
Public Services staff is working to regain water clarity standards and ensure that the chlorine levels are back at a safe level for swimming, according to Kati Galvani, public services analyst. High levels of chlorine are temporarily being used to treat the algae problem.
A sign will be posted at the pool with the most up-to-date information.
Normal pool hours are noon to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. The pool season runs through Aug. 10.
