LAKEPORT >> Lakeport Library”s summer reading program, “Paws to Read,” for students in seventh- through 12th-grade has several programs and activities in July with an animal theme. Amy Patton, the program coordinator, reminds tweens and teens that there is still time to sign up for the program, which ends Aug. 2.
Through July, Lakeport Library is also collecting donations of usable bedding materials, animal carriers, unopened pet food and other items to be given to Lake County Animal Care and Control.

Lakeport Library is located at 1425 N. High St. in Lakeport and is open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday from noon to 8 p.m.
