KELSEYVILLE >> Stephen Pollaine, a former Lawrence Livermore Laboratory physics cosmologist will present “The Physics of Star Wars and Star Trek” on Saturday at the Taylor Observatory-Norton Planetarium.
Pollaine will discuss the possibility of traveling to the stars and the physics behind light sabers. He will also explain Star Trek”s warp drive and Star Wars” hyperspace.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 or younger and includes the discussion, a planetarium show and night sky viewing through the Taylor telescope. Observatory members can attend free-of-charge.
