KELSEYVILLE >> Racks & Tracks Taxidermy swept a doubleheader from S&K Automotive on Monday evening at Lakeside County Park to secure a tie for the regular-season championship in the Lake County Adult Softball Association B-1 men”s standings.
Racks & Tracks won 22-10 in the opener and 14-11 in the second game to finish with a record of 11-3. AB Carpet beat the Outlaws 28-26 on Monday to clinch the other half of the B-1 title. Because Racks & Tracks beat AB Carpet in two of three meetings this season, they will be the No. 1 seed in the B-1 playoffs beginning Monday at Lakeside County Park.
In Monday”s action, third-place S&K Automotive (8-6) plays AB Carpet in a one-game playoff. The winner faces Racks & Tracks in a best-of-three championship series beginning Wednesday. Game two is Aug. 11 and a third game, if necessary, takes place Aug. 13.
Playoff games start at 6:30 p.m.
