LAKEPORT >> Frank Capra”s 1944 madcap, dark comedy, “Arsenic & Old Lace,” screens at the Soper Reese Community Theatre on Sept. 9, with show times at 1 and 6 p.m.
The film, adapted from a Broadway hit, stars Cary Grant, Priscilla Lane, Raymond Massey and Peter Lorre. The plot revolves around a drama critic who learns on his wedding day that his beloved maiden aunts are homicidal maniacs, and that insanity runs in his family.
