LAKEPORT >> The Ladies of the Lake Quilt Guild present the 13th annual Falling Leaves Quilt Show in Lewis Hall at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Lakeport on Oct. 4 and 5. The hours on Oct. 4 are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 5.
The show includes 200 quilts, VIP award-winning quilts, the Country Store boutique, a vendor mall, quilting demonstrations, a silent auction, gift baskets, a door prize and an opportunity quilt.
Colleen Granger, the featured quilter, will present her quilts and talks with attendees about the quilts on display.
“I am an author, designer, teacher, quilt maker and long arm machine quilter. You can usually find me playing with fabric somewhere between Alaska and California and beyond,” Granger said.
Lunch will be provided by Angelina”s Bakery adjacent to Lewis Hall.
Discount pre-sale tickets are available at Kerrie”s Quilting, 1853 N. High St. in Lakeport, and Bird Brain Designs, 3925 Main St. in Kelseyville now through Oct. 4. Pre-sale tickets cost $6 and at the door $8. Children 5 through 12 cost $2, and children younger than 5 are free-of-charge.
