Greg Giusti of the University of California will be the guest speaker tonight at the Lakeport Christian Center. The talk, titled “Clear Lake as We Know It,” starts 6 p.m. The event is open to the public and will feature a potluck dinner.
Giusti is a resident of Kelseyville and is an expert on the ecology of Lake County. His talks always draw standing room only crowds. He will speak about drought and its impacts on the lake, low lake levels and creatures that utilize it, as well as the history of Clear Lake and the county.
He chairs the Lake County Fish and Wildlife Advisory Committee as well as the Invasive Species Committee.
The center is located at 455 S. Forbes St. in Lakeport
